Ingredients
225g Cornish Sea Salt Flakes5 cloves
Zest of 1 orange (finely grated)
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp dried juniper berries
2 x bay leaves (finely chopped)
1 tsp grated nutmeg
5-8 sage leaves (finely chopped)
2 tsp pine needles (if available)
1 tsp rose petals
1 tsp rosemary (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Using a pestle and mortar, crush the cinnamon, cloves and juniper berries before adding to the salt.
- Add the other ingredients and mix.
- This salt can be stored in an airtight jar for up to 3 months and is perfect for seasoning Christmas dishes, including our Figs in Blankets, Loaded Parsnips, or Turkey Nuggets.
